The Bar at La Fonda

CONCEPT:

Rooted in the rich heritage of Santa Fe, the Bar at La Fonda invites you to immerse yourself in its timeless spirit. The brand identity weaves together textured visuals, historic imagery, and vintage-inspired sign-painting typography to fully evoke the character and atmosphere of the experience.

GOAL:

I wanted the brand to feel like walking straight into 1920s Santa Fe—double doors swinging, desert dust in the air. Front and center is the “Harvey Car,” the trusty 1922 Cadillac that used to roll guests up to La Fonda’s doorstep. Its story steers the whole look: sun-bleached lettering, hand-drawn sketches, grainy film photos, and desert-toned patterns. Put together, it’s rugged nostalgia with a fresh polish—perfect for today’s La Fonda crowd.
